Sound is a symbol of presence of anything like birds song in the morning, tiger in the woods, and horn of approaching trains. The sound indicates the identity of something which helps us to trace the original source. The sound of water tells about the movement of water. Earlier kings use to move with marching bands to show their presence and their identity. A marching band consists of expert musicians moving in a group with their specialized musical instruments. The members of the marching band play the sweet music with their musical instruments. The different instrument sounds with different stone like a trumpet with a long bass and drum with bang. The musicians are arranged in very scientific manner to create a melody supported by other following musicians. The musicians are high professional's people who use marching band instruments to create harmonious effect. There are different types of instruments used in marching procession depends upon the nature of the procession. The marching bands have different styles and tunes which they perform according to the function. Their style of playing music and marching movements change with type of processions they lead. The strength of the marching band varies in the type of fair and festival they perform  

There are many styles of the marching bands like they play music differently when they are in opening ceremony of any specialized event or marching a procession. The earlier bands used to be the military bands which use special marching band instruments to play bass music with military style. The instruments are of many types some are made of wood, some with steel and some with brass. The people in marching band are characterized by special movements to present traditional steps. Their walking style is very important as it responses with the music played by the band. Their steps are uniform and proper with gentle motion.

The types of marching bands vary from each others style; there are show bands which perform in sports functions and operas especially to serve the entering teams with delicacy of music. The carnival bands are characterized by pure and authentic music which highlights respect and honor and use marching band instruments especially the brass and the percussion. There are scramble and drum bugle style bands also, the scramble band generally don't have any marching characteristics while drum bugle are concerned use drums and bugles which is indicated by their name. The strength of the marching bands varies a lot some bands have fewer numbers and some have hundreds of musicians.
